The main force behind the Deadly Percherons, Charles Williams draws his inspiration from ‘anything that makes me smile, think and be slightly afraid at the same time’. Music has always been important, but it was the twin events of being gifted a third-hand guitar and meeting the mighty Jah Wobble that kick-started a serious ambition to shape a musical vision. His earliest compositions were written on a cheap keyboard and laboriously programmed on an old computer. A lot of hard work later, and he feels he is finally approaching a sound that he likes, using a mixture of programming, found-sounds, happy accidents and live playing.

The Deadly Percherons create fantastical soundscapes suitable for smoke filled lounges, pulsating dance floors and themed tunes one would expect on a movie like 'The Godfather'. Their flair for the extraordinaire is well documented within the frequencies they utilise so dramatically.
