Kilo Christoff - Vocals, Jay Man Panics - Synths, Programming, Anthony John Murphy - Guitar
Jay Man Panics was born the son of a sailor, and during his childhood frequently moved from one place to another. After living in Saudi Arabia during the first Gulf war he was profoundly affected by the conflict, and began to contemplate the different cultures and societies he had lived amongst. He started thinking about how the west portrays itself and how it is portrayed by others as well as the ultimate nature of things in the world. Sensing that he needed a vehicle to carry his ideas, Jay became interested in music production and after experimenting with many of his influences, developed a style that would eventually be adopted by Kilo-C. The enigmatic Anthony John Murphy seemed to have been raised on a diet of Jack Daniels and cigarettes and upon closer inspection this is not far from the truth. He is a character of extremes. One minute, a passive, quiet, introvert sitting sullen in the corner and the next he is up shouting and screaming and trying to attack anything within a ten metre radius. Most of A J’s life has been spent in an alcohol-induced coma but his guitar is his saviour and his bark is worse than his bite. " Kilo-C
are one of the most exciting bands around! they are gonna be huge! " 'Hugely Exciting
electro'' very encouraging!' I am a Kilo-C
Fan! 'Ambitious Punk-Electro!''one
to look out for!' |
