The
Gents are an alternative rock band from the Midland Brewery town of Burton
on Trent, England. They were formed by artist and musician Simon Watson in
2004. After numerous collaborations with various artists ‘The Gents’
today are Simon Watson, bass and vocals; Lee Twist, guitar, backing vocals;
Dave Armshaw, drums, percussion, backing vocals.
Having gigged throughout the UK and intensively around the Midlands as well as gaining worldwide exposure on internet music websites an ever-increasing fan base has evolved. The music: a combination of dynamic original compositions, fast and furious heavy riffage, with an infectious and often cheeky pop edge.
This is the perfect recipe for exciting and explosive live performances, which has culminated in ‘The Gents’ gaining the reputation for being a quality band not to be missed!
